Library Card Program

The City of Red Bank and the Chattanooga Public Library (CPL) are excited to launch another year of NO COST library cards!  Beginning August 12, 2025, Red Bank residents can now apply for a full-access CPL library card at any of CPL's five locations. The program is currently prepared to release 200 cards!

TO REGISTER FOR OR RENEW A LIBRARY CARD:

  • Visit any of the CPL's five locations
  • Bring a valid form of identification and proof of residency (state issued ID card, billing statement, etc.)
  • Cards are available on a first come, first serve basis, limited to one card per household
  • Households with children enrolled in a Hamilton County School are asked to take advantage of the Hamilton County Department of Education (HCDE) library card program that provides a no cost CPL card through school libraries
